What is Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese therapeutic method that aims to balance the flow of Vital Energy through pressure along the Body's Energy Meridians. As a Holistic Healing Art, Shiatsu is Based on Knowledge of Chinese Medicine while incorporating principles of Western anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Shiatsu is practiced on a mat, similar to Yoga, on the floor, and can also be done on a stretcher.

Shiatsu seeks to treat the individual as a whole, not worrying about eliminating the disease itself, but about normalizing the patient's vital energy.
